Meet Asher Paxton, one of our 2017 summer interns. Currently a Mississippi State student working to earn a Bachelors of Architecture in 2019, Asher is a truly active guy. He's president of the architecture co-ed fraternity Alpha Rho Chi and treasurer of Tau Sigma Delta, the architecture honors society. He participates in intramurals, from soccer to ultimate frisbee. Asher is also a big outdoors guy, including camping and hiking, but also running, biking and swimming - in fact he's competed in 3 triathlons. Asher stays active in the office as well. He's a self proclaimed tapper/whistler, i.e., he really gets into his music. Plus, his unquenchable thirst for water ensures that he gets a little walking in every hour or so!
When it comes to super heroes, Asher would choose to be a combination of Iron Man and Batman. (Maybe Iron Butterfly??) He admires that these guys use intelligence and strength rather than actual "super powers" to succeed. We think these will be super skills to help Asher power through a summer at JJCA!
