Halie's trip to Boston
Aug 9, 2017 JJCA Office News

One of the many benefits of working at JJCA is the support our employees receive for continued education and particularly for achieving licensure. In addition to receiving an education budget to help defray the cost and paying for passing-score exams, upon successfully becoming a licensed architect, JJCA provides an all-expenses-paid weekend trip for two. So when Halie Anderson received her license in December 2016, she wanted to visit a city she and her boyfriend had never visited. They chose Boston for Halie's reward trip. Their July trip was a whirlwind tour that literally covered the waterfront (specifically the Institute of Contemporary Art) - and a lot of ground, including almost 25 miles of walking. They hit a homerun with this itinerary:

Arts: Wicked at the Boston Opera House
Architecture: An architectural view of MIT and Harvard: Frank Gehry, Steven Holl, Le Corbusier (for a little name-dropping)
Sports: A tour of Fenway Park
Food: Tapas, brews, and plenty of sweet treats

Oh my!! Congratulations Halie on receiving your license.
