David J. Brown began his career at JJCA in the mid-90's and assumed the role of managing partner in 2008. In addition to his responsibilities of managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, he continues to be actively involved in leading projects. His expertise includes HUD/FHA 242-financed projects, green building design and design/build. As a registered architect in more than 12 states, he has worked on more than 60 healthcare projects, from new construction to renovation, to replacement hospitals.

Actively involved in his church, Covenant Presbyterian, David is a deacon, serves on the Building Committee, and has participated in a mission trip to Belize. No stranger to the Caribbean, he spent his elementary school years in Haiti. When you see David, you'll be tempted to ask if he is a basketball player. Despite being 6'8", he'll tell you his best "elevation work" is in architecture.
