CenterPointe Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, the first stand-alone behavioral facility in the area, is addressing a significant need for behavioral health services in the surrounding community. The 56,000 square-foot, 72-bed hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services. Natural light infuses the space, with high ceilings and large windows in public spaces, and clerestory glazing in more sensitive areas. Designed as a prototype, this $18.7 million building can be adapted for a variety of sites, with the lobby and dining space anchoring the design.

  • We enjoyed eating at Sycamore while in Columbia. It's a comfortable family-owned and operated restaurant that uses locally sourced ingredients. If you are going to be on the road, it's nice to have something that's close to home-cooked food!
