Working on the Explore! Community School is a rewarding experience for us at JJCA. The school is an integral part of the Envison Cayce project to revitalize Nashville's largest low-income housing development and create a mixed-use, mixed-income community.
Concepts start to come alive during the Design Development (DD) phase. David Brown and Linda Mark recently led our team in sharing the fun details of the school project with the Explore! folks. Using our "widget" sheets, the team walked them through all of the elements students, teachers, staff and visitors will see, feel and experience in the new school. From colors to furniture; from outlets, to -- you guessed it, the bathroom sinks -- everyone can now better "envison" what the Cayce project's new school will be.
