The expansion of Cody Regional Health's Big Horn Basin Cancer Center is just the latest in the campus-wide master plan underway with the hospital for more than 15 years. An additional 8,600 square feet provides an all new medical oncology department, clinic, and pharmacy. The addition also creates a new combined entrance to better serve both the medical and radiation oncology areas. The new entrance features a heavy-timbered canopy leading to a lodge-like lobby and family waiting area. Wood-clad windows in the public areas and patient infusion bays provide scenic mountain views to the west.
Mental health is a significant crisis for many communities, particularly in California, with inadequate access, overwhelming demand, and a shortage of mental health professionals.
