Adam Koons, JJCA summer intern
Jun 14, 2019 JJCA Internships, Office News

We want to welcome Adam Koons, who joins the JJCA team as a 2019 summer intern. Adam, a Huntsville native, is attending Auburn and expects to graduate in 2021 with bachelor's degrees in both architecture and interior architecture: super skilled inside and out!

When scoping us out for a summer internship, Adam discovered one of the great things about JJCA: we are just the perfect size - not too big, not too small. He also says we were very welcoming. Adam wants to learn more about Revit, as well as how projects are carried out. Wait until he gets a load of our checkset process - one of our secret weapons for on-time, on-budget delivery of projects. Adam's already gotten his embarrasing moment out of the way by typing an AutoCAD command into Slack. Hey - no worries - it was nice of you to share!

Adam might just be a renaissance man, with hobbies that run the gamut from volleyball and running to organic gardening and writing. And then there is his ability to recite the alphabet backwards in 5 seconds - certainly a skill worth noting.

We like Adam's taste in food as well - his favorite restaurant in Nashville is bartaco and he loves pasta carbonara. (That carbonara probably goes well with summer intern Jennie's favorite food of olive bread!)

We're glad to have you on board Adam.
