Going Red for AHA

Feb 16, 2015 JJCA Office News

At JJCA, we sort of eat, breathe and live healthcare. After all, we’ve been involved with the design of over $1 billion in healthcare facilities. So it makes sense that one of our company objectives is to encourage the physical health of all employees. Another of our objectives is to reach out to the community by giving back. We combine these two objectives through our partnership with the American Heart Association. Our most recent effort with the AHA was our participation in National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 6th. This is the day everyone “Goes Red” across the nation to support women in the fight against heart disease.

The goal of the local AHA chapter was to make this year’s National Wear Red Day the biggest ever in Middle Tennessee. JJCA was listed as one of the area businesses “going red! "

To help raise awareness on the 6th, we not only wore red, we ate red breakfast treats in the morning and focused on having healthy treats in the afternoon. Thanks for those great red heart-shaped biscuits, Blake. We must have eaten all of those before we took photos!
