Recently featured in the 2016 Healthcare Design Showcase, Preston Memorial Hospital's design ensures that the rural West Virgina community of Kingwood is able to receive "urban-level" healthcare. The communiy's new replacement hospital is actually smaller, but much more effiecient than the three-story hospital it replaced. One of a number of USDA-funded hospitals JJCA has designed, the new hospital/clinic fully leverages every possible cost-efficient design strategy, from color to maximizing the use of daylight, to create a tranquil, healing environment.
