Jennie Gaw at JJCA
Jun 17, 2019 JJCA Internships, Office News

Say hello to Jennie, our "local" summer intern. Jennie is from Nashville but is attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she is majoring in architecture and minoring in art and architecture history. If you can't find her around campus, she might just be riding the bus - an interesting hobby of hers.

Jennie hopes her stint at JJCA will provide some AutoCAD and Revit experience and give her insight into how firms operate. First things first - Jennie says she really needs to learn how to use the scanner properly! Ask her about it.

Jennie has a unique perspective on two important topics at JJCA: eliminating waste and sustainability. She has participated in a "Zero Waste Club" that picks up trash around Oxford, identifying anything that can be recycled. The club also discusses ways to be more sustainable within the community and seeks to raise awareness for their cause.

Here's a little food for thought: Jennie loves olive bread and her favorite restaurant in Nashville is Fenwick's 300. There's no olive bread on their menu but this "fine diner" offers some tasty treats as well as the great coffees and teas their "Bongo" family of restaurants is known for.

Welcome Jennie. We think you'll learn that we're hard working, but fun-loving folks at JJCA!
