We love the energy and enthusiasm that new graduates bring to the job. So we were waiting to whisk Kaela Roberts off the stage from her graduation at UT-Knoxville in May and into an awaiting limo that brought her directly to JJCA. Well, that might be an overstatement but she didn't get much of a break before plugging right into our busy yet fun-loving environment. This may be her first job upon graduation but she comes to us having worked as a bank teller one summer, so we feel sure we can "count" on her in a pinch!
Originally from Sellersburg, Indiana, just north of Louisville, Kentucky, Kaela had often traveled through Nashville and says she and her 30+ house plants are excited to make this home. When she's not working, you might find Kaela playing golf or sewing, a nice combo since a stitch in time could probably save nine holes, right? Her newest hobby is rollerblading, which could come in handy for a fast getaway in the midst of office nerf gun battles.
You'll know you've taken a seat next to Kaela in the JJCA staffeteria if you see a lunch of grilled chicken, grapes, carrots, and key lime pie yogurt. Oh to be young and healthy. Give that girl a doughnut!
Our JJCA crew is multi-talented but we're pretty sure that Kaela would be the only person among us who could play both the piano and harmonica on Billy Joel's "Piano Man", a talent she picked up from being in a cover band all during high school.
Welcome Kaela - we're all in the mood for a melody and you've got us feelin' alright!
